Literature Review For Dissertation

Why is a literature review for dissertation so important?

There are five to seven different chapters in a standard thesis and each chapter has its own unique characteristics and importance for the report. Every single chapter is important because of the prescribed format of the report as it will turn into something else if one of the required chapters is not completed or included in the document. The report presents the various aspects of a research and the literature review for dissertation associates that research with previously completed work and enables readers to understand any deficiencies or contradictions in previous researches. The review of literature in a dissertation presents a critical analysis of the various literary sources which are relevant to the research topic. A reader will not be able to understand the relevance or rational of a specific research if this chapter is not completed in an effective manner and this is one of the primary reasons that the overall grade of the report depends quite heavily on this chapter.
