Literature Review For Dissertation

The significance of a high grade literature review for dissertation

The overall grade of a thesis depends on the quality of the research as well as the quality and effectiveness of the individual chapters of the report. Some chapters comparatively contribute higher to the overall grade and the literature review for dissertation makes up almost thirty percent of your grade. This is the primary reason why your dissertation should have a high grade review for literature. This chapter not only impacts the grade but also increases the relevance and reliability of your report because the claims you make in the findings and conclusion of your research are backed up by the literature you have presented and discussed in the report. The readers are also able to understand why and how your research is relevant to a specific field after reading your review. If the review is vague and general it will not contribute much to your grade and you have to be as critical as possible and have to identify the gaps in existing literature to indicate how your research attempts to fill those gaps.
